Taking a SAT Subject Test 3 times?

So we all know how colleges treat the SAT I taken three times, but what about the SAT Subject Tests?

My dilemma is that i have taken the Lit test twice already (730 then 720) but i really want to score at least 750, preferably 780+. the January test date is my last chance. The other two i took in october and in december.

So, my question is, how do colleges look at a subject test taken three times?

I'm not so sure if it would be good to risk a third time. 730 is already good, and considering you already took it once and did 10 points worse, I don't think it would be smart trying for a third time and running the risk of not imrpoving. Even if you did go up by say, 20 poitns, colleges might think you have nothing better to spend your time on. If you think you can greatly improve to 780 or so, then go ahead, but I would advise against it unless you have been preparing hardcore for the third time.

PS: I took math II three times, but cancelled my second try cause I knew I didn't improve by much. So all that shows is the 740 from the first try and 800 from the third. So maybe if your really want to go for it, try to guage how you did and just cancel if you don't think you did great.

I think you're better off not taking it again..
700+ on Lit is pretty impressive. I've heard it's a really hard test so you should be fine!
