taking all social science courses bad?

So, I already applied, but now I'm worried. I realized that all of my coursework is mostly social science. My major is anthropology. Are they going to look down on that because I don't have a lot of science background? I really want to get into UCB! :x

Is there anyone here who already got in and also took mostly social science courses?

anthropology is a branch of social science

Will you have IGETC completed with most/all of your major pre-reqs completed as well? If so, I don’t think it would matter.

yes I have all prereqs completed …there are only three… I got two A’s and one A+
I have igetc done as well…but I also have 4 W’s from the first semester of college while I was in HS which worries me.

well w’s don’t matter and you took social science classes because they interest you im guessing, no fault there, you should be fine! just make sure you take a wide range of classes at whichever university you are going to go to if you plan on going onto law school or something like that.

I wouldn’t worry at all.

I only had to take one class this semester, and I’m taking courses that are from the Social Science division that aren’t necessarily all Psychology (my major) but I’m sure they’ll look at the fact that you’re going beyond what you’re required to do. I have all my IGETC done as well!!

It’s okay! [:

thanks guys…yeah a lot of my extra classes are in psych even when I’m an anthro major haha…I just love learning about HUMANS and their race I just hope it doesn’t make my app look too EASY
