If this is in the wrong section, sorry.

There always seems to be some sort of 'glory' surrounding AP courses, but is that a reason to take an AP course in a subject you don't care about?

Next year I have the opportunity to take AP Chemistry, Physics, or Biology. My grades from 9-11 grade are enough to get me into one of those classes, but I don't plan to study those subjects or major in them when I go into college.

I've heard time and time again that admissions officers want to see that an applicant took the most challenging courses offered to him/her.

Should I go for one of them or forget about it? My passion lies with the humanities, not sciences.

EDIT: I'm taking three AP courses next year (Lit, Gov, Stats). I took 7 courses this year, so if I add another course to my 6-course load next year, I'd already be prepared for it. I'm not sure if I can handle 4 AP courses, though.
