I'm planning to take AP Calc BC this year through JHU CTY online because our school does not offer the course.
Does anyone know about
1. How well they teach Calc BC?
2. How flexible they are about giving out grades? (I mean, is it hard to get a good grade in CTY online?)

I didn’t take Calc, but when I took geometry through CTY, it was a ■■■■■. Firstly, they redirected me to stanford’s EPGY program. Second, they covered a lot of material that was not useful or even geometry related, on the history of geometry. Finally, at the end of the semester, it turned out that the tuition I had paid, which was rather costly, only covered the first semester, not the whole year. I declined to finish the second semester and took the class at my school, which was much better.

I’m wondering, would the school put that class on your transcript?

It depends on your school. My school only puts HS classes on the transcript. But others may have a separate section for enrichment courses.
