Taking AP Calculus BC without taking any Calculus

I'm taking AP Calc. BC next year. I know you don't need to take AB to take BC but I'm still worried about my lack of Calculus knowledge. I decided to study AP Calculus AB concepts overs the summer in preparation of BC next year.
I found AB through the National Repository of Online Courses. It looks pretty promising, and I'm going to watch all the Khan Academy videos related to Pre-Calculus (as a refresher) and Calculus.
I wanted to get a textbook though.
I heard Larson was pretty good. I found a cheap copy of Calculus: Early Transcendental Functions, Ron Larson, Robert P. Hostetler, Bruce 4th Edition. Is this good enough? It was published in 2006. Does it matter that it's a little old?

I know I have to practice Calculus, so towards the end of summer, I'll go over some AB free responses and multiple choice if I can find it. Any other tips on how to be successful in AP Calculus BC next year??

Don’t worry, you’ll learn all the calculus you need in your class (it’s quite easy). If you want to prepare for something, review precalculus/algebra/etc (this is actually harder).
