Taking AP Classes Outside School

I was wondering if it was possible to that. I really would like to take AP Human Geography, AP World History, and AP French Language, but my school doesn't offer them.

How do I go about that?

i'm not sure if you can take these classes outside of school but check the other local high schools in your district and see if these classes are offered. if they are, maybe you can go to that school during that certain period to take the class.

You can always self-study. Self-studying is efficient; oftentimes you WILL save time not having to submit formal papers all the while getting the gist of the information.

How does self studying work? Do you just find a textbook and read and take the test somewhere?

ditto............

get a couple of review books. Google "AP Subject" to get a bunch of hits of teachers websites for various courses and figure out if there is aparticular textbook that seems to be the most common. Get the text, but only read the parts of it that correspond to what the review book says is covered on the test.

no one takes classes for geography, its a really easy test

You just study the book and tell the school to order the respective test for you. You’ll get college credit but no school credit/grade bump as you never took the class.
