Trying to get straight As in this class. So for those who took this class, what tips or advice can you give me

Get the Barron's book. Half the time I didn't even read the text and just read that. I got an A in the class and a 5 on the exam.

Yep, Barron's is the best for Psych.

Ok cool.

So the barrons book will also help with the class?

^It should. I found the Barron's book to be sufficient for a great score on the actual exam, so It should be fine for class use.

so you can get a 5 on the exam by just reading the Barrons book but not taking the class?

^ yup
.

^^yea, pretty much. It doesn't take long at all either. An afternoon or two of nonstop studying could get you a 5.

^ wow...

10 char

^Yea, I know, but it's the truth. I got a 4 after only studying the day before (I slept about 3 hours that night because I'm a slow reader). So I imagine I would've gotten a 5 if I was diligent and studied when I was supposed to.

It's such an easy test, yet they curve it so nicely. You only need 101/150 to get a 5. However, they might raise the curve a bit this year, since so many ccers are self-studying it.

barron's ap psych was written by one of our teachers at our school...
but she doesn't teach psychology anymore.. just research
