I'm a senior this year and I'm just wondering if I should even bother taking the AP tests for the classes that I'm in. I already have 5's on BC Calc, USH, World History, and English Language, and 4's on Psych and Physics.
I'm definitely going to take the AP French exam, but I'm not so sure about Chem, English Lit, and Comparative Government. It just seems so stressful and I already have credits in all the core subjects. What do you think? If you're a senior, are you taking your AP tests?

I guess it could all depend on where you want to go. Like I want to go to Olin, and they don’t accept AP credit, and so if I were accepted there, then I wouldn’t take any more AP tests. Other schools might give credit only for certain classes, so you shouldn’t take the ones they don’t give credit for if you get accepted there and decide to go.

Taking the AP test isn’t necessary. It just helps you later on in college, so that you don’t have to take introductory or lower level courses and you can jump on to the tougher, more informative classes that pertain more to your liking. Saves money and time on college.

I’m going to wait to sign up for the APs in my AP classes until I know where I’m going to college. Some colleges won’t take credit, but you can use the exam for placement, which can be very useful as well.
