Taking bot Math IC and IIC

I've posted this before but...

Okay, is there anything wrong with taking the Math I AND IIC? Say I take both and get like 600 on IIC and 780ish on IC. Wouldn't schools see that I'm good at math, but wasn't prepared for the higher level one (although I am in Calc this year, but school sucks...) Anyway, I know this won't help for the schools I'm applying to which require IIC only + a science (Caltech, Olin), but what about somewhere that says either one (MIT).

The thing is, I don't think I can really do any other subject tests...Like, I have not been prepared for anything but the math ones.

If you've taken AP Bio, Chem, or Physics, you should be well-prepared.

Well my advice is to take Math IIC. There is a better curve on the Math IIC meaning you can get 8 questions wrong/omitted and still get an 800. On the Math IC you have to get all of them correct to get 800...so technically you can get a higher score on Math II even though you get more wrong. If you get a raw score of 11 out of 50 for Math II, you get 500. so the first time i did Math IIC with no calculus practice ever before, i got a raw score of 28 out of 50 which is equal to 630. a 28 out of 50 in Math IC will get me a wayy lower mark than 630.

It's also better to take Math IIC because most top colleges prefer Math IIC to Math IC, so taking Math IC is a waste especially when you're supposed to take 2 subjects and those two subjects have to be from diff areas (math and science), so you're math IC might not even be counted.

I really see no benefits to taking both. You'll only pay more, give yourself more chances to screw up, and offer no new information to any colleges. If you're in a calculus course and plan on applying schools with heavy engineering programs, you shouldn't even consider taking the Math Level 1.

Hm, okay...well I have a fee waiver so cost isn't an issue.

Yeah, idk...I just don't know any other subject I'll be prepared for. I'm in Physics right now so no for that, took only a simple, regular, biology and I'm taking chem. because I have the strongest background in that (I'm taking AP chem now).
