Taking both AP Chem and AP Physics?

Hello,

So… I’ll be a senior this fall, and would like to go into chemistry major next year.
I’m signed up to take AP Chem, and I’ve been considering taking AP Physics as well because I’ve heard that some students have a harder time, especially in science majors, to go straight into their physics class in college without having taken AP Physics in hs. Otherwise, I will just have an open period; just trying to decide if it will be worth it!

If you can handle it, I don’t see why you shouldn’t take it. Keep in mind that you have to deal with college apps, EC’s, test prep, and AP homework senior year; make sure that you have time permitted for all of it. If AP Physics prevents things, then I’d advise you not take it.
