Hey guys..so as you can tell by the title ill be taking calc2 next year. The problem is my SAT math score was only 670...haha i know a little weird you say. I would generally consider myself a good math STUDENT but when it comes to math on standardized tests...im fail. Can anyone give any recommendations for books/testing strategies. My summer is kind of busy but I'm willing to buckle down when the time comes. I know the general consensus is to do a lot of practice tests...but anything else? thanks guys!

I finished calc this year and got a 630 and 640. I’m hoping that a.) it will magically gain 100 points or b.) colleges will figure that I am so good at calc that the math section was too easy, so I fell asleep. Twice.
Your score is better than mine, so I don’t really have any suggestions…sorry…but if you are a good math student then I’m sure you can become a good SAT student. :)

The SAT in math doesn’t test your ability to solve complex problems but rather your ability to be meticulous, at least if you are a well-advanced math student. Focus on avoiding arithmetic errors and try to catch any curveballs the test tries to throw at you.
