I know a lot of people who couldn't get into a lab time because of a late Telebears registration, and the same goes for me. I'm number 49 on the waitlist for lab, so there's no way that it'll be cleared up enough for me to get in. However, since the lecture and lab sections are listed separately, I'm considering taking lecture this semester and lab next fall. I would really rather not do this - doing both at the same time would make a lot more sense, and I'd have the material fresh in my mind - but I might be behind in classes unless I do this. Has anyone done this before, and how was it for them?

a lot of ppl in my lab this semester weren’t in lecture and vice versa…

yay! i got an A in orgo…the difficulty of 3A is really overrated…I’ll find out about 3B next semester…

a lot of people are in your boat and take them separately because if you postpone both its super hard to get both in your schedule, along with all the other classes you have to keep rushing along. or you can take both in the summer together.
im also on the waitlist…i think it depends on what # you are on the lab section waitlist. i went to my counselor and asked her since telebears doesnt tell you which section position you are, just in lecture. i am in the top 5 or something for a lab time, and since there are 3 different rooms at that time i’m hoping a spot will open up. and im in the top 20 for lecture waitlist too.

I didnt find 3a hard either but 3b was for me with vollhardt
it doesnt hurt to take it separately, 3al is pretty easy and it doesnt really have much to do with the actual lecture anyways.
