Is it bad if you have to repeat a class next fall with the freshmens because its only offered in the spring and not in the fall? How expensive is it to try to take it during the summer?

It doesnt really matter. Most students dont care. if you feel embarased, tell them that you chaged your major.

Summer tuition will depend on the school you go to.

How would anyone know you're not a freshman? Don't worry about it. At my school, only freshmen seminars are solely freshmen.

They might know your not a freshmen when they talk to you. What about your friends? You wouldn't know any of the new freshmans in that class?

if it's that much of a problem, tell em that you couldn't fit the class onto your schedule earlier, or something.

"They might know your not a freshmen when they talk to you. What about your friends? You wouldn't know any of the new freshmans in that class?"

Why does it matter? People can take 100 and 200 level classes as seniors as free electives.

Why would you care so much about what they think? you're not taking the class for THEM, you're taking it for YOU. They most likely wouldn't give a damn one way or another. In most cases, it is actually good for freshmen to know some upperclassmen who can show them the ropes.

Freshman don't have cooties if that is what has you worried.

It is not like high school where being two years older then someone make s a world of a diffrence an 18 year old is not so diffrent from a 20 year old where as in H.S a 14 year old and 16 year old were worlds apart.

In a LAC, you have to take so many intro courses to fulfill Gen Ed requirements that you very often find sophomores, juniors and even seniors in freshman classes finishing off their GE's. I expect there will be freshmen in at least two or three of my classes next year.

I currently have 55 credits, but I am taking 4 "Gen Ed" courses - taking a total of 6 courses due to uncontrollable circumstances.

My attitude towards this? First, they won't know that I am nearly a junior, and second, I am glad they at least chose to attend their classes ;)
