Taking classes at another school

Hi everyone,

I am a newly admitted LSA student, but interested in taking classes in Gerald Ford SoPP and Ross. Am I able to do so or will I actually have to be admitted to those schools? Thanks for your help!

You can take classes at those schools, so long as you meet the enforced prerequisites and the classes aren’t restricted to students admitted to those schools only (like a few PUBPOL seminars).

However, only 20 credits of non-LSA coursework can be applied toward your degree.

Awesome! I am super excited. I just got my welcome packet today, but no bumper sticker?! Have the leaves started changing in Ann Arbor yet? I can’t wait till I visit…

I think there is a maximum of 20 credits you can take from Ross without actually being in Ross.

You got your acceptance for Fall 2011 already?!

actafool08,

No, I was accepted for Winter 2011

I almost had a heart attack. Phew :p

Congratulations on your acceptance, nonetheless! :)

Thanks! Good luck with your fall decision.
