Hi so I have a question. I have only 2 classes to finish my degree for fall 2018. My question is, I want to take it in my home town at a different university so I don’t have to pay for room and board at my current university.
Is it possible to take my last two classes at a different university and graduate with my current university? I would save a bunch a money by staying home and taking classes in my hometown.
That depends on the school, but probably not. Most universities have a last X credits must be completed at their university policy in order to graduate.
Check to see if your current university would allow you to complete your last few credits at the hometown university.
I used to work at a university, and there were a few rare situations where a student would graduate/earn a degree, but finished up their last few credits elsewhere, which were allowed to transfer back to complete the degree requirements.
