I know that Irvine allows its students to take classes at a jc prior to transfer, but I was wondering if La and Cal do the same thing? I am missing one class on assist for my major and wanted to take it over summer.

You can take that class at a CC instead of irvine.
It makes no sense to take it at UCI, you will end up paying for housing and etc.

Does anyone know when Berkeley fall semester starts, the class is from june 22 to august 16th.

You can take courses only they are part of your major. If trying to make up GE, they will not accepted it. It’s stated on the application.
What College are you from Pootie?

I am coming from Cypress College and wanted to take the equivalent to math 54 at berkeley over the summer. Orange Coast College offers it over the summer (MATH 285) and since math 54 is the only class I am missing for UCB I was wondering if they would let me take it prior to transferring?

If you’re accepted to either UC Berkeley or UCLA. Then you may take courses prior to transferring which are lower division coursework.
