Taking Communication classes online

[Background]
Was pursing my degree then found out I needed a ton of GenEds. Long story short, I now minor in Communications as well. I would like to take some courses online so I dont have to do 18 credit hour semesters again.

[Situation]
I’ve been trying to find a college/university that offer communication courses online for dirt cheap. I’ve tried searching a few schools but the lowest I can find is $550 excluding all the other fees. Does anyone know of any other school that offer communication classes that are less expensive overall?

[Criteria]
I also need these credits to transfer back to my main school, Purdue University-West Lafayette.

Look into your state colleges and see what they would charge you because it’s going to be your cheapest option. Unfortunately, it has been my experience that online courses are typically more expensive even if you are in-state. $550 is not bad, really. Also, before you start hopping into coureses make sure you have Purdue approve them for direct transfers. I went through this once at NEU.
