Taking courses in different schools?

I’m thinking about studying either statistics or business (something like accounting), so would it be possible to do something like double-major in Stat and accounting even though stat courses are through the school of arts and sciences while accounting is in the business school?

Or should I just study econ and stat?

Courses are not solely to the schools. Stat has their department. Accounting is part of the business school. So you could double major in stat and accounting. But you would need to go through the business school with that.
