<p>Hey guys! I'm a little inexperienced when it comes to the whole university credit system.. so, does anyone know if I can take courses at my local community college the summer before I go off to college to get a head start on fulfilling my GEs?</p>
<p>It depends on where you end up. Most state U's will accept them.</p>
<p>Once you've been accepted, check with your school's registrar.
They are the ones who process the transcripts from other schools.
You should also check with your major dept if the units will apply to your major and not be simply electives/general studies.</p>
