I was planning to take cs161 math 54, ee 20 and aas r2b next semester, and cs162 cs170 next spring. However, it seems that professors who are going to teach cs 162 and cs170 next spring are either new or low-rated, and at the same time david wagner is going to teach cs 161 next spring. So I am thinking maybe I should take cs161 and cs170 next semester instead. I have completed all the prereqs for these courses, and did pretty well in them, but I am still not sure whether I can handle this challenge as a sophomore. Any suggestions or comments? Thank in advance for the replies. xD

you’ll do fine. it’s not like you magically acquire super human abilities when you become a 3rd or 4th year. plenty, if not most, of 2nd year eecs majors take upper div eecs courses.

Hi,I am just curious how do you know Prof David Wagner will teach cs161 next spring?
