I submitted a college application to Notre Dame under either early action or early decision (whichever one is nonbinding) and on it I put which SAT Subject Tests I was going to take in November. However, when I took the actual tests I decided to change which tests to take. If I submit different SAT Subject Test results or decide to submit only one or two test scores, am I supposed to notify to college or do anything about it. Also, would that look bad to the college??

Please people it is very important that I have this answered!!!

I should also probably clarify that SAT Subject Tests are the same thing as the SAT II. I noticed that I haven’t seen a single person refer to them as Subject Tests.

Probably doesn’t matter to Notre Dame. It would only matter if they specified that certain subject tests be taken and you tried to send them scores for different ones. They know that things change.

They won’t care at all, as long as you submit the number recommended/required.

btw: it’s rather strange that the folks in your hood still use the old name. (The SAT II’s were officially changed to Subject Tests in 2005.)

Thanks for the help everbody!!! One more thing. I haven’t recieved my scores yet, but if I decide to only send one test score, would Notre Dame think badly of me because I decided not to send all my scores.

And bluebayou, where I’m from hardly anyone ever takes the SAT. 99% of everyone I know has only taken the ACT, so I’ve rarely heard them refered to as either SAT IIs or Subject Tests. I only know a few people who have actually heard of Subject Tests before. To be honest, I didn’t really know what I was signing up for when I signed up for the Subject Tests.

From the Notre Dame website:
I think you are safe sending whatever score you are happy with
