I am currently a junior looking to apply to several elite schools including UPENN, NU, and Washington University. My freshman year was rather lackluster, and I have had to worker harder than the rest of my peers to catch up doing sophomore and junior year. I am taking Calc AB this year and I was presented the option to take Calc BC and differential equations concurrently my senior year. I was told Diff EQ was challenging, but I feel confident in my ability to do well in the class with hard work. As I will be applying to UPENN early decision before my senior first quarter grades are complete, would Diff EQ be worth taking to show significant rigor in my senior schedule?
