Taking Duke classes?

I have heard that UNC students can take classes at both Duke and nc-raliegh. Is this correct?

I know with the Robertson Scholarship they can

Any Duke, Carolina, NC Central, or NC State student can take courses at any of the other universities provided that course is not offered at his/her own university.

It’s really easy to do. If your university doesn’t offer the course that semester, you fill out [a form](http://regweb.unc.edu/resources/II_approval_form.pdf), get the head of the department and your advisor to sign it, they fax it to the other university, and you’re done. You’re allowed to take one inter-instititional course per semester. The Robertson bus runs every 30 minutes between UNC and Duke, so transportation is easy. The only thing you have to be careful about is how many inter-institutional courses will count for your major; some departments put a cap at 2-3.

As warbler said, all students can take courses at the other schools. Non-Robertson Scholars can only take one per semester while there is no limit for Robertson Scholars.
