I started school at a university this past spring 2005. My english and math skills are very weak, so I'm thinking of perhaps taking my two required math courses and two required english courses at a community college. My plan is to remain enrolled at the univerisity --and take one of the above four per semester at a community college in the evening.

My questions:

-Is this possible? (to be enrolled in both community college and university at same time and to have the credits tranfer to my university?)

-will the grades transfer to my university GPA?

-and will the courses be less difficult by taking them at a CC?

yeah...i know kids who take classes at my local community college who go to the university of central fl...i dont think every school would do that. they most likely will if it is a state school. you might also want to consider taking the classes at a community college in the summer and transfering the credits in the fall.

You can totally take classes at CC and University at the same time, as long as they don't conflict with each other. Check the transfer guide before you do it though.

The classes need to be approved by your university to make sure they will transfer. From my experience, the grade doesn't transfer - only the credits. Community colleges usually aren't as hard, but if you're taking classes at two colleges simultaneously then just lack of time may be an issue.
