I'll be a freshman at Cal in the fall. I'm currently undecided in the College of Letters and Science and am planning on going the premed route. I recently found out that Bioengineering has a "premed" track that would fulfill premed requirements, and am considering applying to switch into it spring semester. One of the requirements for doing so is that you are in the process of completing or have completed Engineering 10. However, I'm not positive I want to switch into the College of Engineering. Would taking Eng 10 in the fall be a good way to decide? Similarly, would taking BioE 24 (a seminar on the different careers/research projects in BioE that's 1 unit) be helpful in that regard?
Thanks in advance for your help!

TAKE E10! With Lieu AND Gronsky teaching it, this is an opportunity that will never come again. It is a very good course if you like engineering or not.

Okay, thanks! Bumping to see if anyone else has input on this, since I’m still unsure.

Also, sign up for the emptiest E10 section. If E10 is the same as when I took it, E10 gets divided into modules, and there are three separate lectures depending on who you are assigned to. The section and lecture you actually sign up for are irrelevant.
