Taking English right before transfer

<p>What do you think the UCs would prefer I do (fyi I'm applying in fall 09 for transfer in fall '10)</p>

<p>1) clear the English area of IGETC the semester before transfer (spring '10)</p>

<p>OR</p>

<p>2) clear the English area of IGETC completely the same semester I sent the app? (fall 09)</p>

<p>What would look better on the app? Is it even POSSIBLE to apply if you haven't already cleared the English requirement?</p>

<p>You have to show planned completion of prereqs and IGETC by the end of the spring '10. So, you can apply even though you haven’t completed the reqs yet. But showing completition of the transfer reqs early is better b/c then they won’t have to wonder whether you will flunk the prereq classes.</p>
