Taking exactly 20 credits per quarter

I'm looking to take 20 credits per quarter for the 2011-2012 school year at a community college. I'm getting my AAS degree in Business Management from this one this coming June, but I plan to transfer to another one while living on the campus of a public university in this state. Basically, I'm taking about 1/3 of the credits I'm earning here for this AAS degree and transferring them to this other college, where I plan to earn 60 credits (a lot of classes from here won't transfer to go towards my AA degree, but that's okay) to complete the Associate in Arts degree. Then I'll transfer to the university I'll be living at and get my BA in Business while majoring in Accounting.

So here's my question: Will 20 credits (4 classes) per quarter be doable? I'm very dedicated in school and I will do whatever I can to make sure I spend only one year at this community college to get my AA. My first year in college (2009-2010) was a mess because of poor planning. That's why I plan to take above the normal 12-15 load per quarter by adding another class.

Anything else I should be aware of? I greatly appreciate the help.

completely depends on what classes, but it is more than likely very doable

They would be general education classes, with a few business prerequisites (ACCT& 201-203, ECON& 201, and MATH& 148) mixed in. I think the hardest classes I take there would be ACCT& 202-203 (not 201, it’s an introductory class). I’m also looking to take the easiest sciences (I need two of them, but that’s not my strong point). I need one more English, a couple arts, another math that is a step below the 148, and one more Humanity requirement. If I mix it up with the harder classes and the easier ones, I think I should be fine…

See if your CC offers a 1 week class over spring break. Many schools do. You will end up going for 8 days straight, 10 hours a day, but at the end of the week you will have completed 3 credits.

I’m 99% sure that both don’t.

I would hate to do that, anyways. Taking up my entire spring break with long days isn’t worth it to me. I would rather have the 4 classes per quarter.
