I'm currently a sophomore in high school. Last year I took two AP classes online , micro and macroeconomics. I didn't do well on the exams but I got a high B in both classes. Will this at least boost my GPA? I was just wondering how it would affect my class rank. I usually get A's, but I feel like I'm starting to go down so I'm worried. I have 3 B's in my classes currently and I'm aiming to bring them up.

You should find out how class rank is done at your school. Our messed up school makes every extra class hurt you in terms of WGPA and rank, so I, along with others, got screwed over because we didn’t understand the new policy.
Make sure you understand how rank works at your school before taking extra classes.

@DigitalKing I think our class rank is determined by the unweighted GPA. Would that mean my GPA goes down because the B’s are worth less than A’s?

Yes if rank is based on UWGPA and your UWGPA is higher than a B-average (typically a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale), then yes, your UWGPA and rank will go down.
