My daughter would like to take music and foreign language all 4 years which doesn't leave much room for other electives. Our state requires a an econ/personal finance class. If she takes it at school it's a super easy snooze fest which she detests. If she takes it online to free up a slot for an extra AP science class then she only gets a PASS not a grade. She would also be allowed to substitute AP Econ online which she could take for a grade or PASS/FAIL. This would be an elective only she would still have 4 years of social studies credits with a real grade. I think she would prefer AP Econ especially without having to stress about grades but for competitive schools is one PASS/FAIL OK? I think technically drivers ed (required) also shows up as PASS/FAIL. This course would be an 8th class--already has hons Eng 10, AP World, AP Comp Sci, Latin 3, Masters level of music, Hons Chem, and Hons Pre-Calc. So I think another graded class may be pushing things though I know she will have no homework in music or computer science.

Thanks!!
