taking math 1 and math 2

Is there an advantage to taking both math2 AND math 1, assuming that i score very well on both?
or is this unnecessary?

Assuming you do very well on both (i.e. 750+) then that is an advantage… many, many more kids do very well on Math II than Math I. If you do well on both, it shows that you are overall an extremely good math student, and colleges will notice this.

A lot of schools don’t even accept Math I scores, so watch out for that. The only reason to take them both is if you’re a super math genius and want to prove it by getting 800s on both. Other than that, it’s pretty pointless because even schools that do accept Math I usually won’t take Math I and Math II as two separate tests.

Yah, I agree with the previous poster. There is no point really in taking both tests. I believe every school only accepts two SAT Subjecet tests in two different subject areas (math, history, science, etc.).

i had both 800, because my SAT1 is 760, i think that’s helpful.

There’s no point, really, because schools require subject tests from two different fields, like only one math or science or language.
