<p>Well i will be attending NEU this fall and I would like your opinion about using ipad as a note taking device (got the app and the stylus) because I dont like the idea of carrying around the 15'MBP on campus..your thoughts?</p>
<p>I wouldn’t recommend it unless you take yourself seriously enough to avoid using it as a distraction. That goes for any electronic device with access to the Internet.</p>
<p>Some professors also won’t allow computers or ipads (or phones, for that matter). The majority of students, even ones that started off with good intentions, will end up just not paying attention.</p>
<p>Plus personally I find it hard to take electronic notes on any subject that requires graphs, charts, mathematical equations, symbols, etc. Same goes for subjects that require a lot of flipping back to re-read things, like most of mine.</p>
