<p>Hello! What are my chances of going to UC Berkeley, or any other UCs when only taking 2 years of foreign languages? That class (Chinese) was so hard!! I took only 2 years and planning to drop out this year (3rd year). </p>
<p>I will boast my chance by taking the Chinese SAT II subject test and (hopefully) get a good score. And if I did, will that count?? In other words, when one does not take any foreign language in school but took a subject test let's say for French and got a great score, does that count as equivalent to like 3 years of foreign language??</p>
Anyway, I was just wondering if taking a SAT II subject test for foreign language and getting a 800 on it will exempt me from taking two years of foreign language</p>
