Taking only 5 classes senior year?

Just started my senior year and I was only given 5 classes (I signed up for 6) because that there are only 1 period for certain classes at my school, making some of them impossible to take together. There are no other class offered for my 6 period except Choir or to be a Teacher's Assistant (both of which I don't wish to take…no offense choir people)

I'm unable to take 6 desired classes simply because my school doesn't offered enough periods per class.

My classes are:
AP Physics B
AP English Language
AP Calculus BC
AP Gov/ Regular Econ
Advanced Multimedia

My ideal colleges are UC Berkeley, UCLA and UCSD. Should I take a extra online class of a community college or should I just take the time off to focus on college apps and study for ACT?

Thanks in advance

I did something similar last year for my senior year and it didn’t affect my college admissions to my knowledge. I got into schools at or near the quality you listed (though I didn’t apply to UC schools and I know they can be weird about certain things so check with a UC expert). I took 4 AP’s, 1 Honors, and two free periods. I got into plenty of selective schools and I certainly wasn’t leaning on my GPA. If you have the rigor as you do, it’s fine.

And yeah, it helps big time with the college process and/or doing homework for other classes. Unless a UC expert comes back with anything different than what I said, I would gladly take that schedule.

Is that AP Physics C or 1 and 2 combined (B doesn’t exist anymore)? I think you have some pretty rigorous courses. Have you made sure that you’ll fulfill the UC course requirements (a-g i believe they’re called- i didn’t apply to the UC system)? I would not do TA just to fill a period, it won’t help much. However, choir may be useful if you still need an arts credit. Other than that I would say your schedule is fine. I’d focus on studying and apps.

I believe it’s now AP Physics 1? and yea I already fulfill my a-g UC requirements, I’ll have all my art and elective credits needed after this year of multimedia. Thanks for the response!
