<p>Will you be better prepared if you take phyiscs 2a 2b 2c before taking the lab course? Or does it not matter because the material isn't carried over much?</p>
<p>It would definitely be easier if you took 2a,2b,2c for 2cl. The labs are mostly on being able to follow the lab manual and calculate error, which is calculus. All the equations are given in the lab manual of what equations to use so taking 2c won’t help in that respect. I can only say that having a good lab notebook is hard and I already took 2a, 2b, and 2c</p>

<p>they teach you error propagation in 2CL, and it was all algebra save for the occasional derivative (which is arguably the easiest part of calculus). i had taken 2ABD beforehand and only needed 2CL since i was a chem major, but we didn’t have to recall anything from the lectures. physics 2CL was the only physics class i ever got an A in … partially because i took it over the summer and our TAs were just as unmotivated as we were.</p>
