I’m a little confused about how this works. I got a 2 in Physics B last year (Ouch, I know, but I did take Biology right before it) This year I plan on taking Physics C: Mechanics. Should I also retake Physics B to get full credit for college? Or if I score well in C, does that cover the credit for B as well? I know it depends on the school I go to, but how does it work in general? I have a B&C AP book, so studying for it won’t be a problem.

If you did so bad in B, why would you take C which is harder??? And to your question, you get credit for the AP test you took. If you take C, you will get C credit provided you score well enough…but you won’t get credit for B since it is an entirely different course.
Check college sites to see what specifics you get credit for when you take certain exams.

I only did bad in B because I was exhausted from Biology, and didn’t get a lunch break. I could have made a much better score if I studied harder as well. I actually think C is easier, especially since this is my second year in physics :)
