Taking Premed Requirements while in High School

<p>Hello All,</p>

<p>There is a a program at my high school where I spend my senior year taking community college classes. I'm interested in premed in college and eventually becoming a doctor. Will doing this program and maybe finishing some premed requirements like Calculus or Physics help me or hurt me when applying to Med Schools? Would they see it as initiative, or trying to get out of hard classes in college by taking them at a community college?</p>

<p>Probably the second, honestly. It’s best to take med school prereq’s at a four year institution, if possible.</p>
