Taking regular opposed to honors

Has anyone got in with taking a single regular course? Imthinking of taking semester courses this year, one being honors, and the other being regular. How big of a deal is this?

Well some courses I had to take were not available in honors (Bio, a pre-req for AP Bio), health, multi-lit (no need for AP since I got a 4 on the exam already), psychology, ect. The majority of my classes are H/AP, but if its not an option I still took the class.

“Has anyone got in with taking a single regular course?”

god, it’s not harvard…

you’d be surprised dude

and this course is available in honors, but I do not feel comfortable in taking the honors level

then take regular & do well in it as opposed to taking honors & sucking at it. & btw, i’m a girl ;]

its that big of a deal lol what really matters is u keep ur gpa up over 3.75 preferably. and u score high on ur standardized tests. and perform well in extracurriculars. everyone at my school was like omg i dont know if i should have reduced day. and it actually boosts ur gpa up higher with it and colleges don’t see it. now i know why they say to do things because U want to do them.

My bad TheycallmeCC!
I guess it wouldnt be so bad cuz half the year would be honors while the other half would be regular

If it’s one class, it really shouldn’t be a big issue. Now if you’re going to take ALL of your classes as regular classes (if honors and/or AP classes are offered), then that’s a different issue.

I took regular physics just to help out my counselors with scheduling because a mass number of students wanted to take advanced physics and the class I was in had 40-some students in a school that usually has classes of ~20 students, I didn’t bother explaining myself, but I’ll be quick to if I need to make an appeal

nah, this would be my first time taking a regular class when given choices of ap and honors as well.
