I am an incoming senior and due to some difficulities i was unable to take the SAT'S and SAT II's my junior year so now I only have one shot at the SAT'S and SAT II'S and I am hoping for at least above a 2300 on the sat so any tips, practice books, etc. that could help me , especially for math which is probably my weakest area but the test is in october and i need to be in tip top shape for it soooooo help me plzzzzzz with advice and some experiences you have had etc. :)

all I can say is: study. There's really nothing else to say. If you want, get barron's to prep from. And when you do prectice tests, check WHY you made the mistakes you made, so you can learn from them. I would recomend memorizing the barron's 3500 word list, but lots of people find that reading is alot more fun, as well as academically beneficial when it comes to vocab, so pick whatever suits you best.
If you're a fast reader, read the passages first, but not too fast, then go to the question, and answer them in order to not get yourself confused.

um..take snacks to the test, and do lots of tests, and you should do fine. ..

get the blue book, and/or Barron's 2400

ps: wow, notambidextrous, i never see you on this forum, you're always on the Cafe forum.

yeah, but I used to live in this forum for about 6 months, once I got bored/after my sixth SAT, I emmigrated to the cafe :D

thanks what about the Barron's How to Prepare for the SAT ed.23

I'm SO glad to see that I'm not the only rising senior with one (or two, depending on when I choose to send in my applications) shot at the SAT. I was beginning to feel that I was the only one who screwed up (or, in your case, had difficulties) and didn't take it junior year...

Good luck!

thanks good luck to you too.

anyways can anyone answer my question about Barron's How to Prepare for the SAT because i bought that one accidently instead of Barron's 2400.
