Ok, so not really native language..
but let's say your second language learned after English.

Is this seen as negative by the college admissions?
I've heard a lot of things:

Positive(+)... 1) Show what you know! Doesn't hurt
Negative (-)...1) It doesn't count. You knew how to speak the language fluently since you were little.

It certainly won't hurt you, but I don't think it'll help a whole lot. Think about it: there are many, many applicants who speak other languages natively, so taking a fairly easy test on it doesn't really show much to the adcoms. The subject tests are supposed to evaluate, quickly, the knowledge you gained in AP courses (generally), and are easily presentable to colleges, not to mention more precise numerically than AP scores, which aren't reported until after the admissions cycle.

I am in the same conflict... I know Hebrew really well and I'm learning French as a second language. I think I'll take both tests just to show colleges what I know!
