Do Universities (particularly UC’s) take into account that i took Honors Biology freshmen year when considering admission? I was young and didn’t care about my grades so i got an “A-” for first semester and a “B+” for second semester same for honors chemistry my sophomore year (oops :/). My school changed up credit requirements which resulted in me taking bio a year early, as it is a sophomore class in other schools. So do Universities consider that when admitting students? Because I feel like i would have done better if i took bio and chemistry the same year other schools required there students to take them.
UCs don’t count freshman grades.
I can't imagine they care. Honors bio is the norm for IB track kids here. (not cali). Honors bio as a freshman isn't early.
