Taking subject tests as a transfer

I'm planning to apply as a transfer student to some colleges next year. I see that many colleges do not require transfer students to submit SAT Subject Tests results, except for a select few (MIT, Berkeley, Dartmouth). If I didn't take any Subject Tests during high school, should I take them now? If I get good scores, will it improve my application significantly or would I be wasting my time? Will colleges even look at the results as part of my application?

Thanks.

Some colleges simply require subject tests even from transfers. As to the ones that do not, I am sure having and submitting a good score will not hurt. Whether or not you should study and take some tests really depends on your situation, college to which you are applying and other factors.

P.S. Read through this board and you will get answers to your questions or at least a general sentiment (opinion) on those. Good luck.
