I am thinking about taking summer classes (next step in Calculus) at a community college near my house just so I can get through them and save money in the process. I am going into engineering. Will Michigan give me credit for this? Who should I ask to make sure they give me credit?

I may want to try something like this as well… Though I don’t know if it’s a good idea.

I was gonna try to learn Calc III with a few friends over the summer, and learn/review whatever the Physics 140/141 is, but still planning to take them (learning over the summer to do well in the class). This may be a better option though.

to check for transfer credits

QwertyKey. That might be a good idea for you’ll have an easier time in calc3 and physics 140 then most people. This will both boost your gpa and allow you to have more time (for w.e you want to do).

when we take these summer classes, do just the credits transfer, or does the grade factor into our college gpa as well?

just the credits

hmm what summer classes would you guys recommend for an econ/sociology major? should i take an econ class to cover for econ 101? are there any hard or extremely large classes in those majors that i should know about so that i prepare over the summer?
