<p>I'm applying to UCs this year and planning to take the ACT in December 2012. However, the UCs said that the scores must be received by January. This is my first time taking the ACT so I'm not planning to list UCSB as my college recipient while registering. Do you think the scores will be received on time?</p>
<p>You should identify one of the UCs to which you are applying as one of your four free sends in your test application. That results in the fastest form of delivery and all UCs to which you apply will get it well before mid-Jan if you designate that one, and the UCs do accept that Dec ACT.</p>
