Taking the new SAT for better scholarship options?

I am flip flopping between registering for a new SAT/ACT test. Several users on here have been generous enough to give me testing supplies/support, but I’m already starting to second guess myself…not good, I know, but I really want to make this happen!

The ACT Dates are

April 9, 2016

June 11, 2016

If I register for the April 9th one, I’d have to pay the late fee, I believe. I am leaving for Puerto Rico in June so I may have some time to prep for the June one if my flight dates are finally settled. It could give me more time to prep.

The latest upcoming SAT date is May 7.
However, many people point out that score sending may be a while. I sent an email out verifying if screenshots are acceptable if say I can see the scores but processing them to be sent will take a while.

If you put the school code on the SAT test booklet the scores will go to them directly as soon as available, but who knows how long it will take since it’s fairly new.

Did you ask about the residual SAT or was it ACT that you can take right at ASU? I think you can take it anytime?
