Hey all - I just signed up to take the October 24th ACT in a last-ditch effort to be able to apply Early Decision to Brown, my absolute favorite school. I’ve already taken the SAT and got a 2230 composite w/ 680M 750CR 800W, but I had no idea that Brown also requires 2 SAT subject tests to be done by the October date (I’m signed up to do then in November) and am already signed up to do the October SAT. It’s too late for me to take the subject tests at this point, so if I just do SAT’s, I won’t be able to apply early. This is why I recently signed up to do the October ACT.
My hopes are that I will do similarly enough on the ACT that it will not impact my application - I have done a lot of prep for the SAT but none for the ACT. I am a strong CR/W person obviously but my math is a little iffier. Is this a good idea? What kinds of things should I be looking at considering that I have just under a month until the test? Anyone else with a similar experience? Any feedback is welcomed.
