Taking the psat

I'm a 9th grader, I've looked at the pratice books and I dont understand the math, im great at the verbal part but I dont get the math what can I do?

Well its probably b/c you haven’t learned some of it yet. Just do your best…? It’s really not that big of a deal for a freshman, just do your best.

Don’t worry about it. When you get your score report, you will know what areas to concentrate on. Then, you will feel great when you take it again next year after working more on Geometry and Algebra.

It might be because you haven’t learned some of the concepts yet? But don’t worry the PSAT is usually taken both freshman and sophomore year, so you will have time to improve even if you don’t do as well as you would have liked. The PSAT is mainly only used to prepare for the SAT and for National Merit Scholarship consideration. So if you don’t do as well, it’s not the end of the world. :-)
