taking the same SAT IIs for multiple times...colleges take the average?

but one thing i wanna ask...do colleges look at the better/best score if you take the same SAT II tests for multiple times? do they take the average or take the best score? If they do take the best score, can they look (and get a bad impression) at the bad scores while selecting the best one?

can anyone answer me?

Colleges see all your scores, but typically only take your best scores if you take the same test multiple times. From what I've gathered, it usually doesn't harm you if you've gotten bad scores (unless you don't fix them of course). Some people here may tell you it harms your case, but I've known so many people with bad scores to improve and then go to amazing colleges. Usually colleges guess you just had a bad day if one or two tests are bad but the others are good. Plus, it never hurts if you do badly and then show great improvement.

What if I got a 750 the first time and retook it and got a 760?
