Taking the SAT 5 times too much?

Hey CCers,

I have recently been considering signing up to take the SAT for the 5th time in January. Is it worth it? My superscore from previous tests is (720 M/690 CR/770 W). The problem is my math score is kind of low and I feel like I could increase it, but am worried about how taking it for the 5th time would reflect on my application, especially since I'm applying to Cornell, Tufts, and Yale, which require you to send all attempts. I got a 770 on math II and 740 on physics, although I'm not really sure if that would help. Anyway, I'd appreciate any feedback I could get on this dilemma.

Frankly most people I know would not give it more than twice.
2180 itself is an excellent score you shouldnt worry not every gets a perfect score.
it is meant to give you an idea of your capability

These are your individual top scores in 4 tries which means you’ve scored less in each part 3 times. I would take the excellent 2180 and leave well enough alone.

thanks for the feedback, I don’t think I’m gonna sign up anymore.

I think unless ur certain to raise yours by at least 100, it would reflect negatively
