Now I have only taken it once, but I know I MIGHT need to take it a third. Why is it such a bad thing? I mean, I am not applying to any ivy leagues (I have come to this conclusion after getting a 2nd B in an AP Class, possibly more on the way, lol.) so.. does it really matter?

I don't think it really matters how many times you take the SAT (as long as its not totally crazy, like ten or fifteen times). I took the test four times and I know a lot of other people who took it three/four times, too.

Instead of worrying about how taking the SAT more than once or twice looks to a college, focus more on preparing for the tests so your scores can improve! :)

It's a bad thing if your scores show barely any improvement over the 3 or 4 tests.

P.S. getting 2 b's in AP classes won't kill your ivy chances as long as the rest of your app is strong

laser the rest of my app isnt strong..haha.

I plan on taking it 3 times. Hopefully I will do alright on it.
