So after my May SAT, I thought I was pretty borderline for admission (3.53 UW gpa, 2040 SAT, pretty decent EC's, good essay). So I decided to retake the SAT one more time this October (3rd time) and unfortunately, I was unable to give as much time into preparation as I had for the May SAT thanks to laziness and the Senior Year load. My score shot down 120 points to a 1920 and I did not improve in any sections, so super score is not an option. After this semester, my GPA should improve to a 3.67 UW which should help my chances. I am considering taking the SAT one last time in January. I feel that with Winter Break, I will be much more prepared this time and will be able to get 2100+. However, I do not want to take the test too many times, if there is such a thing. So my question is, should I retake the SAT for a 4th time? Where do you guys think I stand right now? Does the 3.67 GPA put me over the top and get me in? Or do I need that 2100? Thanks.

I think you have an ok chance for regular decison especially if you have a 3.67. What are your AP classes again? You probably have a good chance for summer offer.

It will be close. I know someone (me) who had a 3.7 GPA (UW) and a ~3.85 (W) and a 1990 SAT that got waitlisted. So, what is your weighted GPA, and is it possible for you to do even better on your GPA?
